After Brochu, 1997, 2000, 2007, Molnar, Worthy & Willis, 2002, and Shan, Wu, Cheng & Sato, 2009
Note:
There has been a controversy of the phylogenetic placing of the interesting Eocene to Pleistocene Australo-Pacific crocodile-group Mekosuchinae. Depending of the analysis, Mekosuchines have shifted from in-group Crocodylidae [Tomistoma + Crocodylus] (Brochu, 2000, 2007) to closest sister of them (Brochu, 1997, Molnar, Worthy & Willis, 2002) and back again.
