Teaching

I value good teaching as much as good research, if not more. I have lectured on mathematical modelling, theoretical ecology, mathematical epidemiology, evolutionary biology, population genetics, and quantitative genetics, both to students of biology and of mathematics.

o       Introduction to mathematical biology (for students of mathematics, part I, part II; spring 2011; fall 2012; fall 2014; fall 2016; fall 2018; fall 2020; fall 2022; next time fall 2024)

o       Mathematical methods in biology, parts 1, 2, 3, 4 (for students of biology; every other year, 2005-2006, 2007-2008, 2009-2010, 2011-2012, 2013-2014, 2015-2016, 2017-2018, 2019-2020, 2021-2022; 2023-2024; next time 2025-2026)

o       Spatial models in ecology and evolution (fall 2006, spring 2009, spring 2013, spring 2015, spring 2017, spring 2019, spring 2021, spring 2023, next time spring 2025)
