RESEARCH
NETWORKS
We
are involved in two European research networks focusing on recent
developments in modern biotechnology.
The
BODILY COMMODITIES project, (www.hi.is/pub/anthrice/project.html)
coordinated by professor Gisli Pálsson, Dept. of Anthropology,
University of Iceland, will provide an understanding on the moral
debates around new bodily commodities in different Nordic and
European countries.
The
COMPASS (Changing Contexts for Mediating Public Concern in the
Assessment of Biotechnoscience) project, coordinated by professor
Margareta Bertilsson, University of Copenhagen, will focus on
the new forms of knowledge production and distribution around
modern biotechnology in the Nordic countries and the UK.
