Storing data for efficient, scientific collaborative analysis

We will all use the same data for the analysis, which is collected by the individual groups.

Polishing up the data: rejecting observations, completing missing observations and tracking of gross (fatal) errors requires least efforts when it is done already in the field and by those who are responsible for the observations. Scientific work requires care, which is the keyword on MARV4/2.

The notes in the forms should be exact and complete and stored carefully to the computer files. Use logical tests for finding blunders. The data will be stored in plotwise tables, which will be merged into one database.

It is essential that the coding and the use of measurement units is harmonized.
