Loop file contains information about pedigrees and pedigree member which should be used for breaking loops with MAKEPED utility. Breaking a loop is only needed if parametric linkage analysis is performed with autoqualitative (FASTLINK 4.1P) software.
Column 1: Pedigree identifier Column 2: Individual's ID
Example of a pedigree (Pedigree ID 10566) with inbreeding loop:
And loops.dat file would include following line(s) for example:
10566 8
Which means this pedigree/loop will be broken from indivudual 8.
Last line of the file must be empty line!
Loop file is named as loops.dat
