Bugs fixed since XFree86 3.1:
- Accelerated 14-pixel wide font drawing bug.
- Server crash when switched to another VC with linear addressing
enabled at 8bpp.
- DAC programming lock-up at VC switch at 16bpp on a 542x.
- Driver undoes SVGA probe corruption to 543x register.
- Linear addressing on a 543x with 8bpp (may have caused grief when
trying to configure 16/32bpp).
- Hardware cursor color mapping at 16/32bpp.
New features in XFree86 3.1.1:
- Some speed improvements.
- Scrolling/text/fill acceleration at 16/32bpp.
- Support for programmable clocks.
- Support for Memory-Mapped I/O on 543x.
- Support for dot clocks up to 110 MHz on the 5434.
- Support for the CL6440 in the ``cl64xx'' driver.
Changes since XFree86 3.1.1:
- Fix memory leak in text drawing function.
- Support for dot clocks up to 135 MHz on CL-GD5434 revision E
and later.
- More balanced FIFO setting to resolve display refresh errors (jitter)
during drawing operations at high dot clocks.
- Memory-mapped I/O (Option "mmio") operation improved (some
side-effects eliminated, support for 5429).
- Sanity check added to avoid potential server crash with negative
size rectangle fill.
- Fix display error occurring when scrolling without BitBLT engine.
- 543x PCI base address detection.
- Preliminary support for CL-GD5436.
- Default VLB base address for 5429 is 0x03e00000.
