Colliders & cooling, The Large Hadron Collider (LHC), Future colliders and accelerator applicationsExperiments (Part II):
- Particle Detector History and Basics, Tracking and Particle Interaction with Matter, Gaseous charged particle detectors,
Semiconductor charged particle detectors, Scintillation and Photon Detectors, Energy Measurement and Jet Reconstruction,

Exams & Grading Particle Physics Experiments
Exercises (7-8 papers) gives at maximum 20 points (40 %),
Oral exam at end of course gives at maximum 30 points (60 %).
Oral exams: Tuesday 29.4 at 10.15-14.00 in Physicum C310, Monday 5.5 at 10.15-14.00 in Physicum D115 and Friday 16.5 at 13.15-17.00 in Physicum C310
