Assets of the entries "material" have been invested in an experiment of permanent forest plots, aerial photography, and airborne laser scanning data. The experiment is in Hyytiälä, at the field station of the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, UH. The data of the experiment has been used in teaching and in research also by many other Finnish forest researchers.
