information:
We are going to start with a
public pre-symposium lecture by Professor Ian Hacking in
Snelmanninkatu 3 on the City Campus of the University of Helsinki on
September 1st at 6 pm. The symposium starts with a snack and
welcoming drinks at 9 pm at the conference site. After the lecture there will be
transportation from city campus to Hotel Vuoranta. On Thursday at 7 pm we will
have a conference dinner with invited guests
at the hotel. Sauna
by the sea will be available on friday.
The conference ends with lunch at noon on Saturday, September
4th.
Your full paper should reach us no later than 31st July 2004.
The maximum length of the
paper is about 7000 words.
The symposium fee 280 euros, including the conference services and all meals,
saunas and receptions, should be paid no later than June 1st 2004

The length of the presentation is 20
minutes and after that there will be approximately 20 minutes for questions
and discussion.
