I am a postdoctoral researcher in Ecology and Evolution in University of Helsinki, Finland, in a group led by prof. Veijo Kaitala. Our research topic is the ecology, evolution, and epidemiology of environmental opportunist pathogens. We are a group of theoreticians aimed at developing and analysing mathematical models that could be utilised in understanding environmental opportunist diseases and suggesting feasible control strategies to reduce outbreak risks.
