   The Society is registered in Finland. Our Society's aim is to promote research, applications, education, meetings and conferences in the area of adaptive and intelligent systems (these including fuzzy systems, neural networks, evolutionary computing and probabilistic reasoning, inter alia). Persons and corporations interested in the foregoing activities are welcome to act as individual or corporate members.

The official languages of the Society are Finnish and English.

The General Assembly Meeting of the Society is organized annually.
