Research

My PhD research (working title: “The Nature of Neurocognitive Explanation”) belongs to the field of philosophy of cognitive neuroscience. In it I consider the question whether models of neurocognitive architecture (computational theories of the mind/brain) are adequately described within the mechanistic framework.

The supervisors of my thesis are professors Matti Sintonen and Petri Ylikoski.
